MLS — Metal Laser Sintering

Metal Laser Sintering (MLS) is very similar to the Selective Laser Sintering process (SLS), with the addition of atmosphere controlled build tanks and higher output lasers.  MLS uses powdered metal to create solid metal parts. MLS unlocks the potential for designs that would typically be impossible to build with conventional machining methods, or would otherwise be too expensive to manufacture. With MLS technology, parts can be produced using various types of steel, titanium, aluminum alloys.
